Fisherwomen 22"
The Fisherwomen design was inspired by Japanese Edo Period woodcuts and Kimono patterns that I drew then created a pattern depicting the women fishing on that wonderful classic wooden boat of that time, wearing the most interesting kimonos and straw skirts. As a scarf designer I often look at historical paintings for inspiration. The center figure was drawn as a kind of superwoman with outstretched arms in her kimono where the botanicals grow from her cloak to the outer composition.
Limited Edition release.
Designed in Sag Harbor by Lisa Kiss.
Printed in Italy on 100% Silk.
22” Square
This pattern is available in a 36”x36” silk square, Sarong in silk/cotton 47”x67” and in the Pet Set in silk. All on the Shop Page under Fisherwomen name.
