Trained in the Old Masters approach to drawing & painting from an early age, to printmaking & art history in Italy. It was a textile painting course in North Carolina that led me to the perfect career path; to make art that could be worn! I began my business in 1985 selling wholesale to Barney’s, Norstrom, Bendel’s, & all around the world, until 2001 when I lost my studio on 9/11 and relocated to The Hamptons.
My inspiration comes from century old artists—from Hokusai to Pompeian frescoes to Botticelli, Klee, Klimt and ANYTHING botanical. I hope you will find something you love here.
